Merchant Information: Submission Guidelines
Getting your products listed the GreatGiftIdea.com Directory is easy. First, you have to be a GoECart storefront owner/user. Then, simply fill out the merchant submission form and your information will be reviewed for guideline accuracy by one of our editors. If your site meets the criteria, it may be added to GreatGiftIdea. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or inclusion.

GreatGiftIdea.com was created to generate exposure for ‘select’ GoECart clients. Having your products listed in GreatGiftIdea.com is FREE, but only while it is in BETA, and must meet minimum acceptability requirements.

• Must submit unique content for your listing information, cannot cut -n- paste from another website. Listings in violation will not be accepted and deleted from our database.
• Must have a easy to navigate site, with contact info available, and must be cross-browser and screen resolution friendly
• NO illegal or offensive web sites or sites that contain and/or link to pornographic/non mainstream material/products
• MUST be using the latest version of GoECart’s storefront software to power your store with the data feed feature running.

• No "Hot linking" images from another site.

In addition, we reserve the right to change these guidelines at our discretion without any notification to the merchant.

GreatGiftIdea.com will not be fully supported until the beta stages have been completed and the site is officially live. Changed may occur, the site may go down, and listings may disappear, this is a result of the site being in BETA.

Merchant Qualification Criteria for GreatGiftIdea.com The following represent the minimum criteria for a cataloger, retailer or e-tailer to be considered for participation on the GreatGiftIdea.com Marketplace. For All Merchants - Must be using the latest version of GoECart’s storefront software to power your store with the data feed feature running - Must have an e-commerce enabled Web site - Products and website must be “family friendly” - Must accept major credit card(s) on their website - Must give consumers “customer service” access via a toll-free phone number on their website - Must have a Privacy Policy posted on their website - Must have a physical address posted on their website - Must have reasonable return policies - Must have been in business for 6 months - Must be the merchant of record - Must ship products with 2 weeks of order receipt - Must submit unique content for your listing information, cannot cut -n- paste from another website.
